2019-2022: Ignacio Dansilio “Singularities of Mario Levrero’s creative processes. The genesis of La ciudad, La novela luminosa and El Discurso vacío“.The manuscripts of the Uruguayan writer Mario Levrero are the subject of this research. Following genetic analysis, the aim is to elucidate and reveal the textual production processes of three of the writer’s most important works: La ciudad, La novela luminosa and El Discurso vacío. The aim is to reconstruct the stages of these genesis by questioning the relationships between the text “provisionally final” and the preliminary texts during the construction of a literary work. 2019-2022: Yadira Carranza “Fernando Aínsa and Roger Caillois: mediators of cultural transfers between Latin America and Europe.”Travel and circulation of ideas are becoming unavoidable subjects of our digital connected age. With them, new paradigms have emerged since the 80-90’s to study cultural objects and their circulation between different cultural areas in relation to new societal dynamics. One of these new paradigms is the study of “cultural transfers” founded by Michel Espagne and Michael Werner in the 1980s; it aims to better understand these mechanisms by studying the systems of circulation of cultural objects in different cultural spaces. This thesis proposes to apply the concept to the case of circulation of ideas between Latin America and Europe. More especifically: it aims at examining the role of the cultural mediator in it, and the interconnection mechanisms with networks. In order to carry out the study and realize the analytical work, two cases have been chosen: two cultural mediators who acted as cultural bridges between Europe and Latin America: Fernando Aínsa and Roger Caillois. The PhD Thesis enrolled at the Graduate School of Paris Sciences Lettres within the Ecole Normale Supérieure (http://www.ed540.ens.fr/). An international co-supervision is pending.
